Chester Damico. Founder
Chester gained years of experience in the carpentry industry, where he became a Master Carpenter. In 1964, he started his own Kitchen & Bath design, sales, & installation firm known as Fairmont Kitchen Center. Then in 1979 he had the foresight to start making his own cabinets. This is when he formed the parent company Mountaineer WoodCraft. The company grew from a local manufacturer to include a network of dealers in the Pittsburgh area. The retail side also continued to flourish under his leadership. In 2002 he retired, but still continues to oversee installations and has a hand in day to day operations. His attention to detail and craftsmanship have helped shape the company into what it is today.
